The advantages of 1366-EZ Retention Modules are to ensure that the Extreme-X/ Ultra-X/ Luna Rev.A/ SCW-REV.A is mounted securely on Intel LGA 1366 platforms. It has the same 4 mounting points as the Intel socket 775 style, thereby providing better contact with the CPU and cooler.
